> 3 dayBeware! These are NOT 2700K! I am a professional lighting designer by trade and I put a meter on these to find out for sure. The amber glass makes these between 2250K and 2300K. If you’re looking for a little soft amber, these are not for you...these are very amber. Description is wrong.

> 3 dayI like the look of Edison bulbs and in fact have the regular Edison bulbs in several places in my home. When I saw these dimmable LED versions, I thought I would give them a try. Made in China, these bulbs come snuggled in a foam insert that is made just for the bulbs. I got a package of 8 and they shipped just fine with no breakage. These bulbs are rated at 40 watts but use only 4 watts of electricity which is a win in my book. I used them in my bathroom fixture because I wanted something different than those round frosted bulbs that you see all of the time in these fixtures. I actually had Edison bulbs in there before and just installed these in their place. Originally, I tried some round LED bulbs that I picked up at the big box store and found that I could not use those bulbs in that bathroom because there was some sort of flicker or something that caused eye strain and gave me a headache so that is when I traded them for the Edison bulbs. These LED bulbs do not have that flicker and do not cause any eye strain or headaches. They are brighter white than the incandescent Edison bulbs even though both are 40 watt bulbs which isnt a bad thing in our small bathroom. We dont have dimmer switches to try them, but Im sure they will work just fine without that annoying flicker. Overall, these are a good economical alternative to the incandescent Edisons with a similar (though not exactly the same) look and the price is really good per bulb. Recommend.

> 3 dayThe glass surrounding the leds is NOT SAFE. Ive had three bulbs fail during three separate events. The glass shatter when the lights were off so heat was not an issue. It sent glass flying all over my kitchen so Ive taken the other three out of service since I fully expect them to fail.

> 3 dayI absolutely love these vintage Edison LED bulbs that Ive been using across different vintage themed lighting fixtures around my house and replaced their similar incandescent/filament counterparts. And one thing I can definitely say that these bulbs are as close as youll ever get in terms of the looks and light, color temperature when compared to a filament type Edison bulb. COMPARED TO A TRADITIONAL FILAMENT BULB - The glass of these LED bulbs is tinted, which mimics the traditional Edison bulb style very well - They consume only 4W per bulb, compared to 40W for a filament bulb and last several times longer - The are perfectly dimmable with no flickering - Nice warm color temperature, however when compared to a filament bulb they are more whiter.. and the color temperature is not as warm .. only when you compare them side by side - Because they are LEDs, the light output is also much brighter ..so if you are using them for mood lighting .. then its best to use them with a dimmer - They are not too bright either and are at the sweet spot of 4W.. some of the other Edison bulbs I have seen on Amazon are as high as 7W and those are blindingly bright FINAL THOUGHTS Overall this are really good quality Edison bulbs that look exactly like their traditional counterparts and consume a fraction of the energy and in the just sweet spot of brightness and color temperature. 5 Stars.

Greater than one weekAfter less than a year of using these only rarely and more than half of the 3 boxes (18 bulbs) I bought have stopped working. Usually a bulb will begin to flicker for no reason. Thats the sign that it wont be long before it stops working entirely. Which I currently have 4 that are flickering, leaving me with 5 working bulbs (4 of which I just swapped with ones that stopped working) Not very happy

> 3 dayGot a new light fixture that pretty much needs Edison bulbs to look good. No way was I going to put 18 regular 40W Edison bulbs. Im not trying to heat my house. This is where these bulbs come in at a whopping 4W power consumption with full range dimming. The bulbs are individually boxed so they shouldnt get damaged during shipping. They also look just like regular Edison bulbs! These ones have an amber tint on the glass as well. At first I was a bit skeptical about that but I like it now! Before ordering, I was a bit concerned about the color temperature since other LEDs were 2200K but this one claimed to be 2700K. These seem to be more like 2500K? I placed the bulb next to a 2700K led and this was definitely a few shades more yellow. Not sure if the amber tint makes them more yellow but by no means is it bad. I really enjoy the color it gives off. I am using a Leviton DW6HD-1BZ Decora Smart dimmer switch and these bulbs dim well across all the entire range. I have not observed flickering even at the lowest dimming range of the switch. Since I have 18 of these bulbs in one fixture, I can say that the color variation is consistent throughout the bulbs. Definitely give these bulbs a shot.
