> 3 dayI bought this glass to read maps as I travel. I find I use it for almost ALL small print and I use the much needed light to bring clarity to my reading. Its a tad to heavy and the handle is short, the round glass is small, could be bigger. saying all that, I am still very satisfied with my purchase. Not complaining but giving my opinion.

> 3 dayI spent more than an hour fruitlessly searching for the little shard of glass in my foot. The pain told me it was there but I could not see what the problem was. I finally decided that more light was needed, and found a big flashlight that provided it. But still, I could not locate the source of the pSo I got a magnifying glass, years old, and began my search anew. Picture of you will, me with a magnifying glass in one hand, a flashlight in the other, and a very sharp knife wedged under the magnifying glass. Not smart, and not effective. It finally came out, but I vowed to have better magnification with a bright light for whatever came my way next. This is the answer - a fairly large magnifying glass encircled by twelve LED lights. They would light up any area where glass or a sticker has created a painful situation, They will allow you to actually read the fine print so often obscured by its size. I wont be loaning this jewel; but Ill keep it at hand when anyone else has a painful encounter with a bit of glass or a sticker that refuses to leave. FIVE STARS!

> 3 dayThese magnifying glasses are perfect for everyone, even if you wear glasses. Sometimes the print on some items is ridiculously small and you need just a little bit more magnification. These are easy to hold and manipulate.

> 3 dayI bought this magnifying glass to help with working puzzles. I have used it for several other things since I got it; like reading some engraving on a ring, reading the small print on the back insurance and credit cards, reading any kind of small print. In fact Ive used it more for reading things I cant see with my eyeglasses more than Ive used it for working puzzles. What I like: 1. It magnifies well and I can read small print with it and pick out details on puzzle pieces with it. 2. The lens is clear (not foggy or blurry). 3. The built in light is handy for some things (like reading/finding details on a paper or card). 4. It is big and thick, so its easy to hold when arthritis in my hands is limiting my fingers ability of grip. What I dont like: 1. The big size (that I like when my hands are not working properly) can be cumbersome in some circumstances. Its not going to get into tight or narrow spaces. Overall I like the magnifying glass and would recommend it for simple things. Its not a top of the line magnifier, it feels like a toddler toy. If you are working with fine details and precision, maybe check another option. This is a good basic magnifying glass.

> 3 dayI ordered this for my 88 year old dad and he likes it a lot. The light was bright and the magnification was great. My 88 year old mom liked it so much I ordered a second one for her. I just ordered a third one to give to my daughter for reading tiny print she has trouble with in a craft she does.
