> 24 hourIt is a bit bulky but casts nice bright light I run 4 ah and 5 ah batteries . They get me through hours of light time no problem . I wouldn’t run any thing smaller then 3 ah you will spend more time charging batteries then using your light .

> 24 hourThis is a great addition to your tool kit if you work where there might not be power available. The three levels of brightness provide flexibility. I used it working in my attic where this light was much better than dragging a corded trouble line and lit up the area much better.

> 24 hourI should have bought this sooner. Weighing the idea of the next size up and this one for a while, I figured it’s October and I get to work early so I got this size. It’s perfect for me for the first hour or two of the day and setting up or loading up tools. I had some painters spot some of their holidays today with it. It is perfect for that, or critiquing texture.

> 24 hourI have several other Makita battery powered tools and a couple of corded ones, so when I looked for a battery work light there was no choice, it had to be a Makita for battery compatibility. The reviews on the cheapest model were not real good, and the top model was terribly expensive so I settled on this one, which is very bright (and has three levels of brightness) and a long battery life, four hours or more on high. It also has a cord so it can be plugged into a wall outlet, but I have not used that feature. I have used this both in my workshop and in my house when doing projects and have been impressed with the brightness and the white light color (thankfully not bluish, i hate that).

> 24 hourOnly disappointment was the snap on filter didn’t spread the light more. At least as bright as a 500W halogen.

> 24 hourI use this light for illuminating areas inside of buildings that are being renovated. The light has three brightness settings which are appropriate for different lighting needs. The light is sturdy but there are shortcomings that will make you wish that you bought another product. The two 6ah batteries dont last very long on the brightest setting and the lower settings arent bright enough to illuminate a work area. You will need to plug the light into an AC outlet. Plugging the light in would work if the power cord stayed connected to the light. It falls out every time you touch the cord or move the light. The batteries then power the LEDS and run down without you even knowing you are running on the batteries. The light is just awkward to use because it is designed to sit on the floor or a table. No good way to elevate it so you are constantly being blinded by the light shining up at you. Buy something else. There are lots of better options.

> 24 hourAfter reading the very few reviews for this newly released product, I thought this light would be very bright. At full power (3000 Lumens) it is equivalent to about two 100 watt incandescent bulbs, which is not very bright. For less than $90 more, you can buy the Makita DML809 (10,000 Lumens) which is over three times as bright. Spend the extra money and buy the DML809 on Amazon. This low power 3000 Lumens light seems to be very will built and well designed, but for the large size it is, the light brightness (lumens) is very unimpressive. I would need several to properly light up a 15 ft. X 15 ft. room to see good details for painting, or working on my tractor outside. Im sending this back to exchange for the Makita DML809 higher lumens model.

> 24 hourThe light is very bright. The 5.0 battery is a must have for longer use. Ive used it for projects and camping.
