I foster kittens, and sometimes puppies, and they can require a constant source of heat. This does the trick. It does not shut off so I do not have to restart every one or two hours. Just plug it in and it goes until I turn it off or unplug. I now have 3 as part of my fostering supplies.

The only reason I didnt give 5 stars, the description states its 22 watts however there is nothing on the package or electrical specs on the pad to verify this. I was replacing an 11 watt pad with this due to the cat house being outdoor on a covered porch. This does produce more heat than the previous pad, and I like the non adjustable thermostat control which is less likely to be accidentally set at the wrong setting. Thanks Wayne

Like most cats, our cat only likes things when they are her idea. So she would have NOTHING to do with this heated pad for the first month! I was about ready to call it a failure. I think initially it was too hot for her. Since there is no heat control on it, I covered it over with 2 layers of blanket but she still would not use it. I liked that you could constantly leave it plugged in and it will stay on but since she wasnt using it, it was just plugged in all the time for no reason. Then we went away on a 2 week trip and the heat in the house was turned down to 62 the whole time. We left the blanket plugged in. Our family checked in on her multiple times while we were gone and each time, she was on the blanket!! And now since our return home, the heated pad continues to be one of her favorite places so now, I would say that we are very glad we purchased this. It just required a lot of patience for it to be her idea and us going away with the house being cold for an extended time.

Tspoon is 16 and she has been sitting on the heat vents for warmth when it kicks on. Shes very thin due to her old age so I thought I would try this for her bed. As you can see in my picture she seems to be enjoying it!

I got the larger size due to having two cats, so I wanted enough room for them to share. It is almost too small for both of them to use. Although it doesnt seem big enough for a large dog. It seems to fit more of a medium sized dog more comfortably (comparing it to my 35 lbs dog) Something I also noticed was it didnt seem to heat up a lot but I think that is mostly due to the fact it will get between the body heat and the blanket of the animal. So they seemed to like it and use it every single time it is turned on. Helps with the chilly nights

Perfect for medium size adult cats or smaller. My cat loves it and slept on it all winter long. You can’t change the temperature setting which is ok because it is set at the perfect temperature. My only complaint is that I didn’t get it sooner!

My kitty is 20 years old and very thin. I’ve had a hard time keeping her warm. I put this pad on her bed, and she immediately laid on it. She used to want to stay in bed with me for warmth, now she sleeps on this all the time! The cord is a nice length, not too short. It seems to maintain a constant warm, but not hot temperature. I highly recommend this product!

This was purrfect for my feral cat during the freeze in Houston, TX in Feb 2021. I put it on top of a chair in my garage and she stayed on it for the 4 days of freezing weather. Glad I bought!

I have purchased a variety of types and brands of heated pads for years. The pads have varied in size, quality of material, durability, and ease of cleaning. About a year or so ago, I needed replacements (yet again!) I found Marunda. I bought two. Then I bought two more. Then another. Then two more - seven total, now strategically placed around the house. My cats love them! My only caution is that you provide an area nearby where your pet can cool off. These pads can feel overly warm if you sit on them long enough.

As we headed into Winter I wanted to make sure kitty had a warm place to be. Little did I know this would be her most favorite thing! She lies on it all day & probably would all night too if I left it on. The only unusual thing is it said you can control the temperature but I don’t see any place to do that. But despite that I still felt like it deserved 5 stars.
