Mary Meyer Afrique Soft Toy with Wind Up Music, Elephant

We received this as a gift before baby was born. Started using it at 4 months or so... Its so soft and comforting for our little one. I like the weight from the beads inside and the big head, easy to cuddle. It clearly became his favorite to sleep with (he has 3 additional/different lovies that we would alternative him sleeping with), so we bought a second to have on hand. We alternate using both so they get equal wear. We dont bring it out of the house unless to Dr appointments. The quality is excellent, no tears or issues at all with the material on either, and now our baby is 19 months old. I do wash it with our toddlers clothes and dry on lowest heat, no problem at all. Very worthwhile, we really love it. Our second is due this year and we plan to buy the fox version for new baby to have their own, and if it also becomes a favorite well buy a second.

SO much nicer and softer than I expected. I bought this to include in the “Grandma Starter Kit” for my babies grandmother and now I want to keep it. Ha, it’s perfect.

Adorable musical stuffie from a reliable manufacturer. I love that it plays Bach. It’s hard to find one that plays classical music and this has a high quality music box inside of it. It was a baby shower gift and was loved by the new mom.

My one year old has had this for about 6 months and is very attached to it. She sleeps with it and it gives her a huge amount of comfort when she is upset. Ellie has been dropped in the toilet, been bled on, been chewed on by a dog, and has held up through all of that! We wash it in the washing machine and dry it in the dryer and it comes out looking fresh and fluffy. We bought two extras, just in case.

We call him Ernie and he is my little boys favorite snuggle toy. He plays with the ears as he puts himself to sleep.

I bought two of the wind-up musical elephants for my grandson. He LOVES it. However, both times the music box stopped working within less than a month. My grandson is an infant, he is not over-winding it. Its a lovely toy but they should put a more reliable music mechanism in it. Shame it keeps breaking.
