Mary Meyer Bestever Baby Mat, Lamb

Niece was very pleased with this gift.

I love this baby mat! I purchased the pink elephant for my own daughter when she was only a couple months old. I didnt use it too much at that time, but since she was about 9 months old, she has used it so much more. She is now old enough to sit up on it and play with her toys. She also loves to lay down on it with her favorite stuffed monkey and her bottle and drink when she gets sleepy. I have never let her actually sleep on it. When she is sleepy enough, I put her in her crib because I feel more comfortable with her sleeping there for safety reasons. I also dont mind it laying out on the floor with her toys on it because it is so cute! I love this mat so much, that I have since purchased two more, the cream bunny and the pink owl, for baby showers. Both expectant moms, as well as other guests at the showers, raved about them! They are so soft! I have had the elephant mat for several months and have not noticed any quality problems with it. It seems very well made. However, I did notice that there was a small hole in the seam of the bunny one that I gave as a gift. It was there when I received it. This was easily fixed, since it was right on the seam.

I bought this so that my baby would have a soft place to practice sitting up and laying on her tummy in her room. I love how cute the lamb is and how soft it is - it provides the perfect cushion for my baby while she learns how to sit up. She sometimes falls backwards or forwards and I feel better knowing that in the few moments I cant catch her, she falls onto this soft mat instead of the hard floor. She has never cried while falling over on this mat, so I know its cushioning her fall. I took off one star because I noticed there are loose fibers in the material, I see it in my babys fingers after shes been grabbing onto this mat. Shes putting her hands in her mouth every few seconds so I dont want her to eat the fibers, so Im having to wipe and clean her fingers after she lays on this mat.

Just got for my sisters baby shower. She had an elephant theme... and loved this gift! Cant wait to see the baby use this adorable and (very soft) elephant mat!!

My youngest received the lamb at a baby shower, as he got older I brought 2 more so when he accidentally wet his bed or stay at the babysitters place. It absolutely wonderful product.

I love his mat and my baby does, too! Her nursery is Elephant themed and I just had to get this. I put it on the bed next to me and she lays there and goes right to sleep. Its a good size for a growing baby and its very soft. I highly recommend it!

These mats are a huge hit in my house. We received the giraffe one as a gift. My young toddler uses it daily for story time. I purchased the owl one as a play mat for my new baby. Theyre so soft and cuddly.

It is great -just not quite as padded in the body as I was hoping for but overall it is fantastic and my little one loves it so I am happy.

Needs more filler in the pillow area

I have 3 of these in different animal shapes; the oldest is 6 years and still going strong. We started using them for tummy time but my kids still like to snuggle on their mats and watch movies.
