Masterson Handy Palette acrylic paper, White 30 Pack

I was looking at other wet palettes and they come with 3 hydropads and about 100 of the sheets. This one doesnt really mention how many it comes with but as it turns out mine came with 1 hydropad and only 6 sheets. It seems pretty much like normal paper and all but its cut to the size of the palette so if I want to get more Ive got to go through the trouble of cutting it and Im not even sure normal paper will do.

I started painting classes (which I love) at age 70 and over the last several years have tried several methods of keeping my acrylic paints from drying out. The Sta-Wet Handy Palette does the job and I can use the same paints I used several days before. It is also small enough to fit into my carrying case, which is important since an artiste has to carry paints, books, canvas and coffee to an art class. Note: When you carry the palette, make sure that it is upright. If it is not level, the paints have a tendency to run due to the fact they are still wet. Also make sure you read the directions about how to prepare the sponge and acrylic paper. All in all, I think it is a handy, useful product and does a good job.

These are disposable. They are handy for using when painting with acrylics. The paints do not soak through them & make a mess.

I have the Mastersons wet palette, which these are made to fit. Im new at this kind of painting, but Ive so far been quite surprised at how long these have lasted. (Ive been painting miniatures for a few months, and Im only on my second sheet!) Even if you are using a different palette, you could easily cut this to fit. Do pay attention to the instructions which explain how to pre-soak the paper before using it the first time. Im very pleased with this product.
