These paint papers are wonderful. They are durable and last through quite a bit of painting. You can clean and reuse them. Along with the masterson palette they are a must have for any painter. It sure extends the life of your paints and keeps you from having to throw out your paints each sitting.

Been using this palette paper since I began using acrylics 3+ years ago. I prep it with a hot water soak ot open up the pores in the paper and it does the perfect job of creating a workable surface for mixing colors and keeping my paints wet. I love that I can use my palette knives with it and they glide so smoothly and the paper doesnt tear. Its also pretty easy to rinse off the paints and reuse the paper for future projects (flip over to get less intense color that might affect more accurate color mixing). Ive had no problem in working on this size surface for even large painting projects (i.e. 18 x 24 inche canvases).

If you are into small acrylic paintings, this is a must have along with the enclosing palette box and wet sponge. Small blobs of acrylic paints will last several days. Even some mixed paint will remain usable (if properly wetted and closed tight with a rubber band or two).

If youre just getting into wet pallets for painting miniatures, then buy baking parchment or cookie sheets instead. They are thinner and let more water through than these sheets do. These sheets are designed for large amounts of paint to sit on the surface while painting with larger brushes that use more pressure. They arent good for keeping small drops of paint wet for miniature painting. I kept getting frustrated that my drops of paint were drying out on these sheets so I did some reading and found out that these arent so good for that genre of painting. I use a Masterson wet pallet and sponges with cookie sheets to paint my Warhammer/40k and other models.
