> 24 hourWe play this game often. It gets better after you have played a few times and realize that it isnt all luck but that there is strategy in playing your cards and stacking your piles effectively. Its lots of fun!

> 24 hourSkipbo is my moms favorite game, and she loves to play it EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. As someone with dementia, its important for her to have an activity that is enjoyable and helps to pass the time. The cards are fairly good quality, but we do end up buying a new set 2 or 3 times a year. I really like the metal keepsake box these come in, but only the first set I purchased came with a form insert for holding the cards. After that, they cheaped out and went with a flimsy paper insert, AND increased the price. Otherwise, Id have given this 5 stars.

> 24 hourIn spite of the fact it was in a metal box, the interior dividers were damaged. Hard to imagine how that happened.

> 24 hourI ordered the game with the storage box. Paid double of what the game alone costs. The first one showed up crushed on one side so the “Deluxe”box would not shut. Returned. The second “Deluxe” box came but the inside storage trays were literally falling apart. Do not pay extra for the flimsy box!!

> 24 hourI had never played Skip-Bo before, so Im reviewing this as a newcomer to the game. I sat down with my 7-year-old and we studied the rules and played some practice rounds to figure it out. It took us about 30 minutes before we understood it enough to play properly. Skip-Bo is more complicated than UNO, and slower paced, but still fun (although my 7-year-old definitely prefers UNO). At first, it seems really complicated with all the various stacks of cards and the rules that govern each stack, but its pretty simple once you get the hang of it. It does take an hour or two of play before you start to figure out how to strategize with the various piles in the game. You can see some of the other players cards, so you can choose to play certain cards that will help your progress and hinder their progress.
