Love this game! Two people or more up to six players can play. I’m a skeptic about games, but this one is a dandy.

Skip-Bo is a family favorite. It is easy to learn in just one round and is easy enough for the whole family to play. This is a game that relies heavily on luck, but there are also opportunities to apply strategy to set yourself up for success or other players up for failure. This is a thick deck so you may want to invest in a card shuffler. When we don’t have one, we split the deck between two people and have them shuffle the card together.

Fun game. The rules medium difficult, but I was able to learn quickly.

My family (2 adults, children aged 8 and 11) likes card games that are fairly fast moving and short, so that each game isnt a major time commitment and no one gets bored between turns. Skipbo is a new one for us; it fits the bill nicely and we enjoy it a lot! Its a group solitaire style, where the goal is to get rid of your own cards. Because of having different kinds of piles, individual and in the middle of the table, the rules seemed confusing at first. But we all caught on pretty quickly, and the gameplay makes for a good combination of chance and strategy. By varying the number of cards players start with in their stock piles you can vary game length, or even give an advantage to a younger player if needed.

I love this game, easy to learn, a good mix of strategy and luck, making it good for a mix of ages to play together. I gave my set away and bought this to replace it, thinking it would be good for travel, but the tin is way too big! Expected the cards to just fit as they do in the box. I didn’t read the size in the description. Oh well. Will return or give away.
