The rotating plug makes the extension cord absolutely awesome. It allows for use in many various situations. Great item and I’d purchase it again if needed.

I bought these to enable my aquarium controller power bar to fit in the area of the stand I had designated for it. These were perfect to enable the different power cords to fit and the door to close. I REALLY like the ability of the plug to rotate. Great product.

Update: still works great 1.5 years later! I used this to address an issue with the shape of my wifi modem/router electrical cord plug. If I installed the router in the comm box I was not able to shut the door due to the plug orientation and size of the adapter. I installed this, which enabled me to change the direction of the plug and everything has been working great. Highly recommended!

Not only can these be used to extend a cable that is just short of reaching an outlet, but the also have the flat swivel connector which is great. It can get behind bookshelves and media cabinets. Its just flat enough that when there is a large object in front of an outlet, the space between the object and wall (because of floor trim) is usually enough for the cable to fit (youll have to move the object to initially plug it in). It also comes with ground which means it should be able to handle most U.S. electronics including computers, TVs, etc.
