> 3 dayI attached all my wires with gel super glue. It wasnt quite as flexible as Id hope it to be but that was fine. My biggest issue is the amount of work and effort that went into creating my costume and the red wire which were my legs went out after 1 and a half nights of usage. I could tell it was a short because when I squeezes near where it stopped it would try to work but I couldnt get it to stay on. Fortunately it didnt ruin the costume but thats a lot of effort just to have to do it again if I choose to the repeat costume for next year. Other than that, it is a rad way to stand out and get creative. I got a TON of compliments even after I lost my red light legs. I do recommend it on the whole but because its not an easily replaceable asset that went out on me, I cant say I can trust this product entirely.

Greater than one weekThese work great, I just got them a few minutes ago and started playing with them. My only complaint/question is that there is some type of ink(?) coming off of the red wire. It was the only one to come in a little baggie, so I would assume that is the reason why. But the ink comes off with a baby wipe easy enough so I’m not too worried about it. Like others have noticed, yeah the lights buzz but I bought these because of it. I wanted to make a neon sign out of them and neon signs tend to buzz. I’ll update when I have completed my sign!

> 3 dayThese lights worked perfectly for a family Halloween costume of “stickmen”. I glued the lights onto hoodies and sweatpants and they stayed on great and were a hit of the neighborhood. After Halloween they work great as cloud lights in my sons room.

> 3 dayI work with a lot of devices that contain an electroluminescent backlight of some sort, so I’m quite used to the barely-audible whine that the battery holders produce. Each strand lit up perfectly on the first try, but were also not obtrusively bright, which is easier on my eyes in the dark compared to even my dimmest LEDs. I don’t yet know how I would like to use my EL wire, though I do have a few ideas including using them as underbody lighting for my RC cars, or perhaps emulating neon signs from the 1980s. Overall, I am very pleased with this five-color EL wire set.

> 3 dayThese were fun to try out as an intro to EL wire, but they werent very bright and theres a constant ringing sound coming from the battery pack while theyre on.

> 3 dayThese lights are not bright and not worth it. Does not come with adhesive at all.
