Maxpedition Entity 27 CCW-Enabled Laptop Backpack 27L (Charcoal)

The bag is almost exactly what I was looking for. Hard use, non military looking bag. I have numerous maxpedition bags and they are all 10/10 quality. They just typically look tacticool. I only buy more because I have unique needs for different bags. This will be my daily carry. The set up is a little weird. Unlike a standard backpack, the main compartment is closer to the front than the sides and the opening isn’t very wide, but it does almost down to the very bottom of the bad. I think it will be fine, just have to get used to it. It doesn’t feel like the same material as my other maxpedition bags, but it may just be that the weave is considerably tighter. Maxpedition is definitely a buy-it-for-life company, so I’m hoping technology used in this bag is just better so the material doesn’t have to be as thick. The bag itself is very comfortable to wear. It could easily hold 2-3 days worth of cloths, food, and a couple things to do. Or a clip board, several books, lunch, and a all your other normal EDC stuff. It seems well made, but only time will tell. My falcon 2 maxpedition bag has been with me to 8 countries and probably twice that many states, on top of being carried every day at work and it shows little to no signs of wear. I’ll update this at some point when it goes through some more stress.

Very comfortable to have on your back even with a laptop in the pouch. Very durable. Plenty of storage. Love that it has a carry concealed section. Glad I bought it!

This backpack is comfortable, seems like it is built very well, and I like the looks of it. The interior is a little small for normal sized folders and textbooks. A 3 ring binder would not sit flat i the bottom and must be wedged in the bag at an angle. Not the best bag for students.

I bought this as an overnight business travel bag, and returned it immediately. It is quite large. Would be fine as a backpack travel bag for 2-3 day trips.

I read a review when researching this product that said I will buy this backpack and only this backpack for the rest of my life and I couldnt agree more. I use it as an everyday carry bag for emergency supplies, work gear, and my CCW. This pack has robust quality and so much thought into it. Its worth every penny

This is about as perfect of a pack as you can get. All the assets of a Maxpedition tactical bag, but looks normal on the outside. I was worried it would be too big, but it is no bigger than a standard backpack you would have for college or EDC. It is worth the price, I will have this for the rest of my life.

I really wanted to like this pack. I researched it, but once I got my hands on it, I found too many short comings. First, the water bottle pockets have no stretch to them. This means that the bottle prevents you from using the pocket underneath. Second, the CCW pocket was great, but shouldn’t a CCW pack have a dedicated pocket for a Level IIIa plate? I knew this going in and thought I could jury rig something, but for $165 it should have a dedicated pocket. The other issues i had were minor and I might have over looked them had it not been for these first two. This pack has lots of good features: generous laptop sleeve and quality materials. the modularity of the add-on hook&loop pockets is nice… but at $20 each they add to the overall cost. By the time I had set up the pack I was into it for the same as a Gamut 2.0… so that is what I traded in for. Much happier too. Sorry Maxpedition…. but I did try your pack first.

I purchased this bag to replace an STM bag that Id carried with me for years. I read as many reviews as I could, watched countless YouTube videos and decided to take the plunge with this one. Overall, Im not blown away. I think there is a very specific form and function this bag serves, Im not sure its 100% for me. I wanted a durable bag that has strong zippers, and wont wear out in a year. One of the main components that I was looking for in a Tactical style bag was that it had an easily accessible sleeve for a laptop. This bag offers an easily accessible sleeve for a laptop - but the fit is very sloppy on my 15 MacBook Pro. It would easily fit a 17 laptop, but it doesnt hold the laptop in place at all. If you were using this with a 13 laptop it would be WAY too loose. I dont plan on using the CCW features of this bag - however should the need arise, Im glad its there. The storage pockets are well built - zippered pouches galore - lots of room for all your bits and pieces. Time will ultimately tell if this is the right bag for me - but overall my impressions are bleh... I feel like for the price I should have gotten something much more substantial and the features should warrant the price. In this bag, I dont feel like they do.

Well worth the money !! I carry my folded Galil 556 inside this bag pack, so so much quality on this bag. Lots and lots of pockets and zippers, you will not regret. Plus it does not look like a gun bag, highly recommend AAAAA+++++

Made very well and though tout as all Maxpedition gear is, I own other products.
