> 3 day2006 Land Rover lr3 my hood (bonnet) shocks died and looked around for replacements the Land Rover ones were 100 bucks these were 20, thought I would test my luck based on reviews for these. The reviews do not lie these things are great, the original ones were no where near as strong and these easily fling the hood up!!

> 3 dayThese things are awesome and powerful. They left the hood with no issues at all and you can tell they have plenty of power behind them. Super easy to install and much easier than OEM struts to take off. Definitely recommend this to anybody looking to replace struts on their car.

> 3 dayHigh quality hood struts. My LR3 hood was getting a little dangerous; I take my attention off the hood and it tries to give me a concussion. These struts were installed in about 2 minutes and restored my belief that my LR3 is NOT trying to kill me

> 3 dayThis fits a 2011 Land Rover LR4 perfectly. Youll need a small flat head screw driver and a small adjustable crescent wrench to make your life easier. Work on 1 strut at a time. Gently pop the retaining spring (without popping it off) with the flat head (both ends), (I used a 3 ft 2x4 to prop up the bonnet between the latch and hook) pry the strut apart with the flat head while holding the bonnet (hood), snap one end of the strut first, use the crescent wrench to twist the other end 180* to snap in place, and repeat on the other side. It took about 5 minutes to replace both. The struts are beefy and smooth. A single strut could hold up the bonnet and both struts securely holds it open. If youre thinking about doing it, do it. Cant go wrong these.
