Installed easily. Looks good, works well. Just installed will see how it stands up.

2007 Solara perfect fit. Easy install. Operates flawlessly. I see a few posts saying that it is difficult to remove the *old* strut - that is of course not the fault of the new part. Personally, I had no problems removing the old.

Side by side comparison shows the compressed length is too long, won’t allow hood to close.

This works fine but resistance is greater than stock. Stock strut only required I drop the hood from about 1 ft high. With this you have to push the hood down with more force than gravity. Otherwise it pops back up. 1/6th the price of original so I can live with it.
