Maybelline New York Super Stay Better Skin Powder, Warm Nude, 0.32 oz.

I was a die hard fan of the PureStay powder foundation. Of course, it was discontinued, as often happens with products you love. I still really like powder foundations. I use this as both a powder foundation, and sometimes as a finishing powder over liquid foundation or concealer, or a touch up powder later in the day. I prefer it as a powder foundation. Used that way, it gives a pretty good coverage. Not full coverage, but decent medium coverage. It does not leave a powdery, cakey look on my face.It has a nice silky feeling to it, it blends in well, and my blush and/or bronzer layers well over it. It does not have really great staying power. I help that by using a setting spray. I like this much better than any of the high end powder foundations I have tried at much higher price points.

Love the coverage and smoothness of this powder. Im having trouble finding it, so I wonder if its being discontinued. Hard to find a nice pressed powder that doesnt look too cakey or powdery. This is a nice, matte finish and a great deal.

I am so glad I decided to give this foundation a try! I usually only use asian beauty products and the occasional high end product. Im not one who buys western drug store makeup. I have to say Im glad I tried this one. I usually use the Etude House Precious Mineral Compact Powder after I apply my Innisfree Aqua Fresh Cushion to touch up and get extra coverage, but I ran out of my Etude House powder and I wanted something cheap in the mean time while mine was shipped by my aunt from Korea. I bought this on a whim because the promise of skin transforming powder with salicilic acid really intrigued me. And can I say WOW. I was SUPER SKEPTICAL and I thought I would just toss this as soon as I got my usual powder but this one is a keeper. I brush it on lightly in the areas I need more coverage and a little bit more color and covers my acne areas so beautifully. I have dry acne prone skin and this doesnt emphasize my dry patches on my cheeks or my forehead. It also seems to give me a lovely blurred effect that looks great in pictures! Im actually really super happy I picked this up. It does have the salicilic acid in it so sadly once I go on my Accutane my doctor told me to avoid it. But if youre not on acne medications and have some acne I think this product is amazing!

Im 36 and my skin is pale with a pink undertone (its naturally thin due to a collagen deficiency). I ordered this powder in Porcelain and its perfect. When it comes to make-up and my skin in general, I am a less is more kinda girl. I dont even wear base. The only make-up I want people to see is whatever I use for my eyes. I needed to replace my concealer stick and was excited to find this Better Skin line. I pull the blankets up and kinda bury my face in them when Im sleeping which causes blemishes on my chin. I bought the Better Skin Concealer in Ivory (available here on Amazon for $8 or $9) and this Better Skin Powder in Porcelain. Using them together (along with a small amt of green color corrector to balance my tone in my photo) makes my skin look soft and natural. Ive used them together 4 or 5 times now over the course of about 6 weeks to test out the validity of the better skin claim. It seems to make a difference for me. My skin clears up when I use these 2 products as opposed to my regular concealer. If I dont use it for a couple days, the little surface blemishes come back. If I use it again, they clear up. Granted, I dont have acne or bad skin in general. Never have. Its not like my Better Skin team has a lot of work to do. But I also dont take care of my skin like I should... or at all really. I did notice that if I dont wash the Better Skin products off before bed (and admittedly all the next day bc Im lazy), it dries out my skin. My regular concealer doesnt do that. Overall, for me, these items get 2 thumbs up. They match my skin tone, feel and look natural, last all day, and seem to help with the chin blemishes that I get from snuggling down into my blanket. Maybe its coincidence. Maybe its Maybelline. (see what I did there?)

This is the one for me! I have rosacea and very oily skin, plus some deep furrows between my eyebrows and on my forehead. It is always challenging to find something that covers well, matches my fair skin tone, stays put and does not cause irritation. This product fits the bill for me. I love that it only takes a minute to apply and is buildable. So much better than my liquid foundation. I only wish there were more product in the container. It doesnt last long even with only one coat daily.

I love, love, love this product! Maybelline made a similar product a few years ago and discontinued it. I started using something else from Cover Girl and they discontinued that. Luckily, I see that Maybelline came back with this product again! It covers flaws so perfectly and quickly and stays on your face for nearly a full day. Sometimes I have to reapply on my nose and forehead, but its a keeper. DO NOT discontinue this product again Maybelline!!!

Ran out in the store and needed to replace. Same as what I always buy. Very good stuff. Been using for years. Great coverage
