Maybelline New York Super Stay Better Skin Powder, Warm Nude, 0.32 oz.

If your an old purestay lover like myself who has had the worst time finding something comparable and affordable .....look no further! Love this powder! I have only ever warn powder foundation. No liquids for me. When Purestay was discontinued I paid arms and legs for it until it was outrageously expensive. I have looked awful for years with other drugstore stuff and great with the department store powder. I am so thankful maybelline finally did something right. I contacted them numerous times and this finally is what I like. One tip: I was always a #50 Natural Beige. It was not too dark but not too light. I habe olive skin with yellow undertone. It was perfect. BUT The NB in this stuff is DARK!! Im wearing the #25 in this one now. Just keep that in mind!!

Originally when this stuff came out it was like a liquid that looked like a powder when it was put on this stuff that came is just powder it’s like it dried out or something idk

Im 36 and my skin is pale with a pink undertone (its naturally thin due to a collagen deficiency). I ordered this powder in Porcelain and its perfect. When it comes to make-up and my skin in general, I am a less is more kinda girl. I dont even wear base. The only make-up I want people to see is whatever I use for my eyes. I needed to replace my concealer stick and was excited to find this Better Skin line. I pull the blankets up and kinda bury my face in them when Im sleeping which causes blemishes on my chin. I bought the Better Skin Concealer in Ivory (available here on Amazon for $8 or $9) and this Better Skin Powder in Porcelain. Using them together (along with a small amt of green color corrector to balance my tone in my photo) makes my skin look soft and natural. Ive used them together 4 or 5 times now over the course of about 6 weeks to test out the validity of the better skin claim. It seems to make a difference for me. My skin clears up when I use these 2 products as opposed to my regular concealer. If I dont use it for a couple days, the little surface blemishes come back. If I use it again, they clear up. Granted, I dont have acne or bad skin in general. Never have. Its not like my Better Skin team has a lot of work to do. But I also dont take care of my skin like I should... or at all really. I did notice that if I dont wash the Better Skin products off before bed (and admittedly all the next day bc Im lazy), it dries out my skin. My regular concealer doesnt do that. Overall, for me, these items get 2 thumbs up. They match my skin tone, feel and look natural, last all day, and seem to help with the chin blemishes that I get from snuggling down into my blanket. Maybe its coincidence. Maybe its Maybelline. (see what I did there?)

This is my favourite skin powder. I use it as a foundation. It is very much like the discontinued Purestay but it doesnt contain sunscreen. Instead it has vitamin C. The colour and feel of application, and look are identical to Purestay.

i am IN LOVE with this powder! its marketed for oily skin, but i have the most sensitive, dry skin and i find it looks great. every single one of my friends, from most oily to most dry, loves this. it is not overly mattifying, instead it smooths and adds coverage. the price is also hard to beat. i follow up with a hydrating mist to help it set even better. buying this in 3 different shades to fit my ever-changing skin tone haha

This is the only drugstore powder that actually adds coverage! I love this so much. When layered on top of the right foundation it looks super matte and flawless. I will say it can be cakey with a thick foundation. I also use this when going to school alone on top of moisturizer. Mist it with a setting spray to make it look more natural. It is great. I love this so much.

Great deal for a good quality powder foundation. Coverage is great. Glad I found it here as the stores do not carry it any more. Came packaged well, powder was still intact.

This powder was too orange toned for my fair, pink toned skin. I normally wear the lightest shade of Revlon Colorstay in 110 Ivory.

This power is everything. If you want to look good but dont want to being applying makeup all day, this is for you. The color matches perfectly and works well over a foundation or concealer. It is very bendable with a kabuki brush. Be ware of pores on the nose. If you have nose pores that are visible, apply primer because this on top of the foundation will magnify the pores. But this is what happens with most powders.
