What a great swr power meter vhf and uhf.

Wow. I got this SWR meter for my HAM radio system, and it does an amazing job. It is worth every penny (I paid less than $50 include shipping). It has VSWR reading as well as extra reading such as forwarding power, reversed power, and percentage of forwarding power. It EVEN has a frequency counter which is very useful determine if your radio modulation is correct. All these features in one jam packed unit which is easy to use. I had to get a couple adapters such as N/PL/SMA connectors to test out my radios and antennas. Lots of fun. A great way to maximize your radio systems. The unit is also solidly build with strong metal casing. Probably the best radio SWR/Power/Frequncy meter on the market at a low price.

Difficult to operate; meter doesn’t read or give any kind of info and you can’t adjust the settings.

Great Unit, easy to use, good results. Use for MURS.

Adj. for power and freq. are time consuming. Once set its good.

I just received my SW-102 from Amazon Warehouse. The box was damaged but the meter and accessories are fine. Ive tried it at 146.52 MHz into a lab-grade 50 ohm load it it measured 1:1, just as it should. With a 75 ohm load it measured 2.02:1. Not just an SW meter, its a frequency counter, too. When transmitting the meter displays the freq in MHz. The meter offers the ability to adjust the SWR , power, and frequency counter display so if you have, for example a 50 ohm dummy load that you know is exactly 50 ohms restive impedance its simple to adjust the meters display to exactly 1:1 in 1% increments. For 50 bucks, you are getting a heck of a good deal. Its quite accurate with all my vhf/uhf radios, I like the fact you can use this to check your walkie talkie antenna swr. All in all, an excellent deal, easy to use and the battery life is quite long. Of course, I only use it when I need it, so I dont really have to charge it much. But seriously, its nice little unit that 10 years ago would have been inaccessible to me price wise.
