Wow, these are great! I bought some of these for my home-brew antenna projects for amateur radio. I wanted to be able to easily connect and disconnect various random-wire and balanced-line antennas to my amateur (ham) radio transceiver.

I have used many banana plugs but these just have the ability to grab the cable and keep full conductivity. If you are looking for plugs dont waste your money on other styles.
