I was using a mid-grade cable from Best Buy for my sub before I accidentally pulled the end off when trying to relocate it, and it did me OK, but something about this cable seems to have improved the quality of my sub, as well as its response to signal. My sub goes to sleep when I power down the receiver, and it seemed the old cable wouldnt always wake it up. Works just fine now.

> 3 dayThe cable came very quickly. When we took it out of the box, it unrolled and laid straight, it wasn’t all curled up, good quality cable. The construction is solid, I plugged this in and out several times during installation and the RCA connector is very well made. The connection to the RCA input jack is snug, but not overly so, just right. The system I installed this on is not a high end system, but the cable worked as it should and the sub received the signal. I just can’t comment on the sound quality, because this is not my system, and I have no prior experience with the way it sounded before.
