This is high quality, heavy cable.

...just purchased a home theater receiver and 5.1 speakers....needed a sub cable. After looking at Belken and others, I found this to be the best quality and best price. You dont really need gold connectors but this cable was less expensive than many which were much lower quality.

My wire came with a short close to one of the ends.

If any of you audiophiles out there have ever dealt with trying to connect all your speaker wires to your stereo, youll know exactly what Im talking about. I have a 7.2 stereo system with 7 speakers and a sub-woofer inside and a set of speakers for another zone, which happens to be outside. Attempting to place all these wires into those tiny slots, let alone having the 18 wires can be quite bothersome. Not with these little babies! Connecting your wire to each one of these is quick and easy. Then, all you need to do is plug it in!!!

Good quality sub cable. It’s going from a mid grade Sony reciever to a brand new Polk DSWPro 550 (also bought from Amazon). The combo is awesome! Such a perfect clean boom. Been using everyday for a month. Recommended
