> 3 dayThe first one I bought caused a noticeable hum in my sub. I returned it to Amazon and got another one. The second one had only a faint hum when I tested it. I’ll run it along the intended route to see if it gets any better or worse. Neither of Media Bridge 15’ cable or my RF sub adapters caused any hum at all. Maybe a slight hum is the best that can be expected for a 50’ cable. Update 10-14-2020: I watched some action movie scenes yesterday with the sub running off the 50’ cable. There’s just too much hum to ignore. This cable might be ok if the sub was in the front corner of the room, but this one is just to the left of the couch in front of the tv. The hum is loud enough to hear when I sit in the middle of the couch. I’m not an audiophile or particularly fussy. I just like to watch action movies on occasion. I took out the cable and switched the sub back to the RF adapter.

> 3 dayI was worried about running 50, even with coaxial. However I was able to route it with our getting close to power cables or speaker wires. Dead silent. Running a 50 and 35 to two Klipsh 600w Reference 12 subs in a good sized theater room. AVR is behind the stadium seating up high, subs are all the way down front on either side of the 135 screen. AVR to subs is 24 direct line of sight. 7 to the floor, then 24 forward, then turn left 3 to one sub and another 12 to the second. About 3 to spare on the 50, dead nuts on for the 35. We just bought the house and I do not have time to run in wall for everything, yet. So for now its open cables hidden under crown molding and cove bases. Previous cables had a hum, though they were not coaxial, not to mention too short. Levels seem to be a tad higher as well. Theater is complete! Solid cable with solid connectors. Well worth the money.

> 3 dayWorks perfectly. Some reviews in previous years stated the 50 ft cable was a RG6 coaxial cable and the ends were not molded to the cable. They must have redesigned the cable since the 50 ft cable I received in April 2015 had the ends molded, and looked exactly the same as the 25 ft cable I also ordered, but just twice as long.

> 3 dayForget high price cables such as monster. I really like mediabridge products, they work great!!! I had some AR cables and didnt like the sound they reproduced. The bass wasnt deep and it sounded muffled. With this cable it is a noticeable difference. The bass is now deeper, i can turn my bass down and still enjoy the rumble while watching movies or playing music. Get it!!!

Greater than one weekTried to make my own one of these to run through a crawl space. I didnt buy shielded wire and my sub produced and wonderful hmmmmmmm. I thought I should bite the bullet at get a shielded one. This cables shielding works extremely well for my purposes. Its run about 45 through a crawl space with no issues and no noticeable loss in audio quality.
