Greater than one weekThe Vortex is made from thick stainless steel and is welded into a very sturdy cone shape. Provides outstanding high heat which greatly enhances the sear on meats and the quick char on veggies. It worked great on beef, pork, chicken, broccoli, cauliflower & cabbage so far. While While Medium Vortex on a 22 Weber Kettle Grill it is very versatile and Im getting fantastic results, Id consider purchasing my next VORTEX in the small size vs medium to get a little more indirect / safe cooking area around the center of the Vortexs SEARING Zone. Again, its a great product Id recommend 100%.

> 3 dayGood stuff! This is my second as I lost my original. I can’t think of a better way to cook wings. Solid product and I recommend without a doubt.

> 3 dayDid some wings, flats and drumsticks, using the Vortex and 22” Weber Kettle. Put a rub on them and let them sit in fridge for 4 hours. Fired up the grill with hardwood charcoal inside the Vortex with small side up. Ten minutes each side and they we’re perfectly done at 170 degrees internal. A lot of heat left so I put a pack of Tony Pacos Hungarian Hot Dogs on. Seven minutes and they were done. Best accessory ever. Worth it.

> 3 dayI was surprised at how small it was. But it was made of quality stainless steel. After doing a “burn off” of the stickers and oil’s,I used it the next day for chicken quarters with indirect heat. Half full of pre lit coals and and a chunk of applewood in the middle and we had juicy, delicious smoked chicken. Love this product so far. I will see how long it lasts.

22-11-2024Ive used it for chicken wings as advertised and its been pretty good. not as good as my rotisserie basket but I clean-up is much easier with the Vortex. Its absolutely awesome for searing steaks and its pretty good for beer can chicken. It does seem like I dont need as much charcoal when using the Vortex especially in my Kamado. It allows for better air flow and for some reason the meats Ive smoked on my Kamado taste better. I assume its because of the cleaner burn. Its pretty thick and feels like it will last a long time. I hope it does because it is not cheap.

> 3 dayThis is a perfect size for the Weber 26 inch grill. Last cook was bone in chicken thighs. This vortex worked great!
