Yes it was kinda bent, or shall I say, rather not as sturdy as I had hoped for. These are shipped, so some minor shipping might be why several reviews are negative. What I did to fix this, Just manhandle it, straighten it out and put some force against it and you will find that it will be very sturdy, not to mention, once the weight of the water takes over the stand, it will be sturdy. This is a must have. We keep a large measuring cup under ours for filling up our coffee machine. Works great.

I have used the Big Berkey Water Filtration System for years. I found this stand recently and couldnt resist. It is very sturdy and makes using my Big Berkey so much easier!

Sturdy. Does what it is supposed to do. Does not rust. Feet have rubber covers. Fits the Royal Berkey -Raises the Royal Berkey high enough to fit a water bottle underneath. Otherwise, for larger bottles, you have to align the spout over the sink.

When I bought the water filter system a year ago I didnt think I had any use for the stand. I finally decided that I could use the space beneath the filter for items I keep on my kitchen counter. I then realized it was easier to fill water bottles with the filter elevated; I didnt have to bend over to hold them as they filled. The stand appears nicely made, as are all Berkey products. It could be a bit smaller in diameter, but maybe it can be used for larger Berkeys. Mine is the small one. ,,

This is a well made unit. I did not encounter any of the quality issues reported in some of the user feedback on this product. The quality is good and it works well with a Doulton water filter also purchased on Amazon. The unit I purchased is 9 inches in diameter and works great with the Douton which is 8.5 inches in diameter.

I like the clean look of this, and ease of getting a full Berkey on or off if I need to, and cleaning under when I spill during fill. I wish this was and inch or two higher to get water bottle under, and to fill the water container from the fridge. The quality is good, but for what you get I still think the price is a bit high.

The stand holds my 2.5 gallon Berkey perfectly and gets the system up so its easier to use.

The Berkey stand was the perfect size and height and made the situation much easier. The height of the stand gave me the ability to place a glass, cup and even a stove-top water kettle underneath the faucet. Before I got the stand, the Berkey was over the sink counter top and the spout was over the sink. Containers had to filled while in the top half of the sink. The water kettle didnt fit in the sink so I had to maneuver to place water directly in kettle. I didnt want a two-step process to enter water in the kettle. And now only one step and very convenient to use with the height of the Berkey stand.

The Big Berkey water purification system works entirely by gravity. Gravity fills the purified water container, and gravity empties it via a spigot at the bottom of the reservoir of purified water. The problem is that, in order to fill a standard-sized drinking glass, the Big Berkey must either be placed at the edge of a shelf or countertop, or it must placed on a stand. This stainless steel stand neatly solves this problem. We were afraid that, once on the stand, the Berkey might be top heavy and unstable. However, this is definitely not the case. Our large drinking glasses can easily be filled with purified water, and the Berkey seems just as stable as it was when it was sitting directly on the countertop.

I feel it’s overpriced for a stand but bought it because it was made specifically for the Berky. The whole system looks great on my kitchen counter.
