> 24 hourI bought the pads to cover the area around my elderly cats litterbox and also used them today in his carrier when we went to the vet. They are very absorbent and leakproof. In the carrier, I used two pads so there would be a dry layer in case he had an accident in the car. He did have an accident, so I threw out the top pad and he had a dry carrier for the drive home. The urine did not leak into the carrier or into the car -- it was contained in the pad. There was some on his paws because he was sitting on the wet pad til we got to the vet, but he was mostly dry. I am really happy with this product and will buy it again.

> 24 hourI dont recommend these although they get some good reviews. Theyre just too thin and you sit in too much moisture. I used it for my dog who got hit by a car and his rehabbing on the couch and in one day on these pads he broke out. Switched to Walgreens brand much thicker much nicer less money.
