> 3 daySo at first look I thought I was going to HATE these. Unfolding them was a bit of a pain as the absorbent part tends to stick together so bad that you have to peel it apart where others tends to unfold with a little shake and these are extremely thin. I had very little hopes of absorbency compared to the normal brands I buy which are at least three times as thick. Once I finally got them unfolded and down on the ground, I went to bed for the night leaving my pup to rome the pup nursery. The morning I woke expecting to grab a mop and well, I was pleasantly surprised. This is the first brand that Ive gotten where the edges actually dont leak all over my tile floor. So for the price you get a little better than you pay for considering the edges actually work better at preventing over spillage than any other brand Ive paid up to three times as much. So minus one star for the irritation of pulling them apart instead of just shaking them loose, but 4 Stars for a solid product that doesnt look like its going to perform nearly as well as it actually does.

> 3 dayAt first I thought there were too thin and not absorbent enough, but after using them for a couple of weeks with my dogs I have changed my mind. They work really well and don’t leak off the sides unless my dog pees right on the edge. Overall a good product for the price.

> 3 dayI use these pads in combination with smaller size pads to line the litter box for my 17 year old cat and have been using this system for over a year. Ive never once had a leak through. However, if he goes near the edge, I dont think *any* brand could prevent liquid from running over the edge. Weve used these for both kinds of cat waste. Hes happy, Im happy. And I shop around for brands/sizes/quantity to find the best price per pads available and shipping time. The m Medpride brand are consistently my preferred brand, as they have the thicker plastic backing which is harder for my cat to scratch through when he buries his business. My only complaint is that it has gotten harder to buy larger quantity packages in recent months, so Im forced to shop around more.

> 3 dayIf you have bad incontience I would probably get something thicker.

> 3 dayThey absorb well but are thin and not wide enough, but the length is good. Wish they were the same length and width. Probably won’t purchase again, I need something bigger.

> 3 dayThey came out of the box and they are not the normal squares. I’ve never had rectangular potty pads. #weird. I have to lay down two to make one now.

> 3 dayI had a package of a similar item many years ago that I used for an ailing geriatric dog. I loved them because they were super handy, werent treated with any kind of pheromone-smelling product (I didnt want to encourage my dog to relieve herself in the house, just wanted to have absorbent padding under her in the event of mild incontinence). They worked great for that purpose. Flash forward to many years later, and I had a puppy that I was house training. Im not a believer in puppy pads because I want my pup to learn that the only place to potty is outside, and IMO, puppy pads just confuse that concept. However, a friend of mine had given me a package of puppy pads. Not wanting them to go to waste, I thought Id just use them under my parrots play pen to catch food that he throws, stray corn cob bedding, or in the event that he hangs his bottom off of the side of his play pen to potty. Normally, I use designated microfiber towels for this and just launder as-needed, but needing something in a pinch, I remembered the puppy pads. No sooner had I put one down, my 90% potty-trained pup took one sniff of that puppy pad and promptly peed on it! Obviously, the puppy pads were not a wise choice for under the birds play pen. That reminded me of these, and I ordered a pack last week. Theyre the perfect size for my use, super convenient, and are a time saver. Im able to re-use one multiple times since the only time I need to replace is if the parrot has...well, you know. These arent very environmentally friendly, so theyre just something to keep on hand as a backup if I anticipate that I wont have a lot of time for laundry. I think they have numerous uses for pets aside from the intended use for humans, and are suitable to protect furniture or carpeting from pets who are experiencing *mild* incontinence (I dont think these pads would absorb a full bladder, and the plastic is rather thin - I have no intention of testing that theory for the obvious reasons!) I expect that a package will last me a long time as theyre only going to be used once in a while, but I think this is an item Ill always keep in the house.
