Great gift for my grandson.

I am so sad to give these two stars. My mom got these for my son on Friday at a train store. Today is Tuesday. Yesterday, I got a splinter from the ambulance, and this morning, an entire piece of the fire truck came off. These cars are so cute and my absolutely son loves them. But they are less than a week old and already falling apart and dangerous. Came to Amazon to see if anyone else had this problem.

The kids in my preschool class enjoyed this set along with the other three sets I bought Melissa & Doug Construction Vehicle Wooden Play Set, Melissa & Doug Stacking Construction Vehicles Wooden Toy Set and Melissa & Doug Stacking Emergency Vehicles. The helicopter propellers were very stiff.

Both my kids have played with these daily for 3 years now and they are still in great shape. Buying a second set for my nephew since my kids like them so much!!

Larger than I anticipated, but would fit little hands perfectly. Good for creative playing even if they dont fit on wooden train tracks

Sturdy ,good quality

These are larger than most of the M&D vehicles and I really like that. Each vehicle has a removable driver and my boys (ages 2, 3 and 4) all love playing with these!
