Awesome puzzle for babies! The pieces are big and colorful, and fit into place easily, and the pegs are the perfect size for little hands to grab a hold of easily. Lots of fun!!! :)

A very good and sturdy knob puzzle. It has held up well after months of use and am thrilled Ill be able to hold this for our next little one to us when hes old enough to get into knob puzzles.

Cute puzzle and easy for little hands, but the design is glued on and can come off easily if a little one chews on it. And what little one doesnt chew on everything?! I love Melissa & Doug products, so I was disappointed to see this kind of quality on such a cute little toy. Also, the pieces create a bit of wood dust which I am not keen on having my little one ingest. I know, I know, there are so many thing that babies get in to. Im sure our little one has eaten his fair share of dog hair off the carpet, but reducing the inevitable is my goal.

This puzzle was great for my 2-year-old. Its large, colorful and sturdy and everything you expect from a Melissa & Doug product. I ordered another puzzle almost immediately.

Along with another Melissa and Doug puzzle, this gi0000ft to my 1 yr old granddaughter was a big hit with her to the exclusion of several others she received at the party. She opened this early and kept ignoring the other gifts she got and - no surprise to me - kept returning to her M & D puzzles.

This is a fairly easy and fun puzzle for a sixteen month old to play. He is able to pull the pieces out and replace them. The cut on the pieces are a little tight, so it makes it more difficult for him to actually get the puzzle piece back in its slot. The fish is especially tight on our puzzle. The knobs are a good size and easy for him to grasp. The colors are bright and the puzzle certainly catches his attention. I bought this puzzle while it was on 50% at Amazon otherwise I might have tried a different subject matter (maybe the dog, cat, and bird) so the items would be familiar to him. As it was on sale, I thought it would be a good opportunity to see the quality of the puzzle and how much he would play with it. He is more than willing to play with it, so really the quality is the only question. The puzzle is made of some sort of plywood that seems to incorporate MDF. The pieces of the puzzle rub against the side as you put them back in place and leave a residue of what looks like fine-grade sawdust. I am hoping that as time goes by, the rubbing with result in an easier to remove and replace puzzle piece. The picture is printed on some sort of paper that is laminated to the top of the puzzle. Because of this, it will probably only be a matter of time before my grandson starts gnawing at the pieces and possibly causing the picture to start to separate. I wish that the picture had been printed directly onto the wood instead of paper. The quality issues are the reason I dropped the puzzle one star. They are not so extreme that I would return the puzzle and I may buy one or two more in the line. It will keep me from investing heavily in these puzzles. I will continue to be on the lookout of well made puzzles for the grandkids.

Great first puzzle. The pieces are large and have big knobs on the top - very easy for your little one to grasp. The bright colors make the pieces easy to locate (our child likes to push things under tables or sofas). Underneath the pieces the board itself has the same design as the pieces, so it is easier for your child to match what goes where. The wood is very durable. The paint does not chip or come off easily.
