these brand of puzzles have become my favorite, they are very sturdy and perfect for young children. and love the sizes of the pieces of Melissa and Doug puzzles. and are perfect puzzles to have if you have an in home childcare center or work at a group child care center.

It’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be because I didn’t look at dimensions. I’m super happy with this product.

Just pulled this out of the box. Size and color are great for my 18 month old. But the puzzle is wrapped in a tight clear plastic, and I can see three places where the fish sticker is already peeling. (This is not painted!) And right next to the tag stating this is wood is a tear in the plastic where the pressed paper/pseudo-wood/possibly MDF material is pealing apart in about 15 layers. Not even opened or touched by my child and its already coming apart. What a disappointment! I will be returning this immediately, unopened. (And its made in China in case you were wondering.)

The large knobs are great for my 2 year old grandson who has cerebral palsy. It makes him feel as though he can independently accomplish something. His smile says so much.

As a fairly new grandmother Im just discovering Melissa & Doug toys. Ive bought several and have not been disappointed. This is a perfect first time puzzle. The large knobs are great for beginners.

Love the detail and quality. Glad i purchased two, the other a different theme.

My girl is still teething and within seconds of her putting it in her mouth, it started to break apart. So I wouldn’t suggest it for a teething kiddo. BUT it’s still a great product that I’ve put aside until she’s over the mouth phase.
