These are great and fun puzzles. Big. But as mentioned in title, no more durable than a standard large puzzle. I was hoping for thicker cardboard or better laminate. Because of the size, my kids climb all over the puzzle while working on it. As you might expect, this causes more wear and tear than on a regular puzzle. My kids are pretty carefull, but corners are peeling after just a few times putting it together. Still, a good buy, fun, and great for getting kids to focus on these types of projects.

Perfect puzzles for a 3 year old. More challenging than a 24 piece, and fun to do with them until they master it and dont need your help. Great colors and sturdy pieces. Perfect for the floor or the kitchen table.

Nice big puzzle for little ones. My daughter didnt really get into doing it herself until around 3 1/2. Looks beautiful once it is put together as well. I got for a great price around Christmas - would definitely purchase the same in different pics again.

My granddaughter loves these puzzles. Impressive how fast she can do them for her age. However, I wish the pieces were a bit sturdier/thicker. They do bend and the crease is there forever.

We ordered these for Christmas for the kids. Mainly wanted the underwater one, but the solar system came with it as a bundle- great price. The pieces of both are big, thick, bright, vibrant colors. I think they will withstand the roughness of 2 toddlers. We love the Melissa and Doug toys. I enjoyed helping them put them together, even though the solar system excludes Pluto (as its officially been removed from being a planet- what .?.- guess we were taught wrong for all those years :/

Perfect gifts for learning minds. My little cousin (6 years old) needs to be kept busy, so puzzles are a source of entertainment. Bought them as a Christmas gift. He loved them. Ive used Melissa & Doug Jumbo Jigsaw Floor Puzzles before and love how vibrant the colors are. The pieces are easy to handle, sturdy and thick. I love them for children!
