I got this for my daughter as shes into MLP and I figured shed also enjoy regular horses as well. This set is really cool. The enclosure is a plasticy material that you fold together. This is a nice space saving feature as you can unfold it and store flat. A sheet of stickers is provided with various horse names and stars that they can use to decorate their new friends enclosure. Theres a checklist of all the chores needed to take care of their horse, which is great for them to do and feel like theyre responsible. May be good pet training if you dont already have one? It comes with a blanket and saddle, food, water and a brush. Basically everything they need to care for their pal. My daughter loves grooming her horse and taking care of it. Im impressed with all the items that come with it. Its a great value for the cost.

We bought this to use with the Melissa and Doug animal care station along with the veterinary kit. My daughter play with it constantly. I felt it was a bit pricey but we are definitely getting our moneys worth.

Oh my gosh what I wouldn’t have given to have had a toy set like this as a child! I was horse crazy. I got this for my toddler. It’s been a bigger hit than I expected given that she is only two. She has kept all the shoes on and we are only missing one bucket which has to be around the house somewhere. Every day she gives Horse a sponge bath and grooms him and tells him to put the saddle cloth down like he’s a dog. I adore that the feeders clip on to the side of the barn. I wish that the barn stall was made of something sturdier, particularly the gates, buy surprisingly it has held up well. She loves the gates. She even likes the checklist , which I personally thought was a bit throw away, but what do I know as it turns out.

This feed and groom horse set is super fun! The horse is really soft and a good size. The stable or pen is really easy to put together by an adult. It comes with several pieces to play with. The checklist is great to use with my students to practice following directions. Another well made product by Melissa and Doug!

Nice, complete set of horse care play. Comes with a checklist so you can really go over each item The stall is very small, but it works. Accessories are simple, but works well to convey the lesson.
