Bought this toy for my 1 year olds birthday. He really enjoys the knobs and buttons! When I play with him I enjoy the toy myself honestly. Great quality, will be used for years to come I’m sure , and I feel it’s a pretty practical toy in terms of learning.

Neat Neat Toy!! Built Really Well And Is Very Detailed In The Layout Of The Steering Set Up!! Plenty To Keep Your Little Driver Occupied!!

This toy is extremely well built and sturdy. It has a surprising amount of buttons and activities on it, all that are decently relatable to real world driving. My son loves the steering wheel and how it just turns and turns with no end, no matter which direction it’s turned. He hasn’t quite figured out all of the buttons yet, but so far he’s learned the steering wheel, the horn, all 4 radio station buttons, the gear shifter, the red racing button, and the hazard flashers button. He hasn’t learned the turn signal lever, the air conditioning vent, the ignition key, the gas gauge timer, the fog lights, or the gas flap on the side. He’ll get there though! He plays with this toy every single day, most of the day. I’d definitely recommend to anyone with a fidgety toddler like ours!

I think we are just paying for the fact that it’s made of wood and also the brand. It doesn’t have much to it. The knob for the gas tank timer should have had a stopping mechanism so that kids can’t just keep turning it, as the first thing my 3 year old did was turn it so far it popped off immediately, so there went that. The blinker I can see breaking if he gets rough. It’s a cute concept. We pretend to drive places. The music is a waste. It plays like 5 seconds of each tune. Who does that? Maybe an on/off button for music would have been better? Honestly, not worth the price. Better to look for a cheaper secondhand one or an entirely different product altogether. Sorry Melissa and Doug but it’s just not that great,

My kids were playing with my husband’s old gaming steering wheel and it ended up breaking apart a week ago. They were pretty upset because they love pretending to drive so I looked to find another one. There were cheaper options than this one but they were just the plain steering wheel, no buttons or gear shift so I decided to give this one a try. My boys loved it so much that I had to sit with them for hours having them take turns playing so they wouldn’t fight over it. I didn’t realize there was a little window that shows the car on the road but my 3 year old LOVES it! He likes to set the timer on the gas gage and when it goes off he lets me know he’s pulling into the gas station (there’s a little gas station in the window part). Anyway, we loved it so much we bought another one the same afternoon so both boys can drive together. The only negative I thought was that maybe the wheel was a little small but I think it’s because I’m used to seeing my kids playing with a “grown up” sized wheel, they seemed to have zero issue with the size.

My son is 2.5 and loves this toy. The electronics did break down after less than one week of use but the toy is still usable. It would be better at a little bit of a lower price without all the electronics so consumers aren’t frustrated with how quickly the sounds get mixed up and focus on that disappointment. Otherwise well built and lots of fun for aspiring drivers.

Definitely a great toy, was surprised it was a bit smaller than I thought but very good quality!
