Don’t use batteries. Great for a child’s imagination. Perfect for car rides. I drive and my son “pretend “ drives too. Very well made and not to heavy for 4 year old to balance on his lap across car seat.

Study construction. All the fun of “driving” a car.

This was a perfect Christmas gift for my 5 year old. He loved it so much! The more he plays with it the more he enjoys it. He loves cars in general so he’s always pretending he’s driving.

Reminded me of a toy I had 60 years ago with the road that you have to stay on. But mine was magnetic lol. This has all the bells and whistles of a real car, from turn signals to flashers. I loved playing it Christmas morning with my 3yr old grandson lol!! I highly recommend it!!

Another well made toy by Melissa & Doug. My 21 month old really enjoys this as he is a huge fan of all things cars. I love that it is all wood and super sturdy—no loose or wonky parts that he can twist or turn off and break. This is very solid too so much as I don’t think he could really break this if he tried (and he is rough on things!). A lot of interactive gadgets on the dashboard such as a horn, radio stations, key to turn, blinker, and a little window where my son can simulate driving. The noises aren’t obnoxious sounding and there’s no annoying songs which is a plus for us parents. The dashboard is super cute and was an immediate hit the minute I gave it to my son. I think this would be great for 12 months or up—probably would start to get a bit boring by about 4 yrs old or so.

My four year old LOVES this steering wheel set. He had been using one similar from the 80s that used to be his dads (my MIL keeps everything.) Anyway- this was the perfect replacement. He plays rough with it too, and it still looks/works great. We use it a lot with our nugget- he builds a car then uses this to steer it. Nice toy that promotes imaginative play!
