We have two great 14-cup coffee makers (brand begins with Cu). Sometimes the grounds overflow #4 filters. There is room for a taller filter. So, I bought two boxes of #6 filters thinking that they would fit properly. Nope. I guess I need #5 filters, which may not exist. I take 30 seconds to cut about half an inch off the top of the filters so they will fit. No problem, but I wont buy them again. Melitta filters work fine. Theyre just too big for our coffeemaker.

Melittas natural brown cone filters are an environmentally sound option for fans of filtered coffee. The filters themselves are compostable, and while unbleached filters dont brew a better cup of coffee, they are more environmentally friendly than white paper filters because they are manufactured without using bleach. (Paper is naturally brown and only turns white with bleach.)

For quite a few years we have had trouble with the coffee running over the filters and getting grounds in the coffee. Thought at first it was a problem with the coffee maker. Had been using #4 cones as per the recommendations with the appliance, but when making a 12 or 14 cup pot always ran over. With the #6, I trim about 1/2 inch off the top and it works perfectly. These filters have micro perforations which the other filters no longer have for some reason. I think the micro perforations are the answer to the problem. So glad to finally be able to add a bit more coffee and brew a full pot!

Great size

I really like these #6 filters. The double seams have no opened during use, and the filters are higher than the stainless steel filter so the wet coffee grounds dont spill over the sides. Another brand from Amazon has single seamed and opened up in small areas when using. Will stay with Melitta.

My coffee maker is a 14 cup coffee maker that uses the cone style coffee filters. It is hard for me to find phone these coffee filters at local retailers. This is the 2nd time I have ordered from from this seller and have been pleased with both. They are healthier option for me who drinks all 14 cups of coffee almoat every morning with the occasional 12 cup day! Their large size Melitta brsnd ciffee fikter #6, allows me enjoy all 14-cups ground free, thankfully!

Have used these coffee filters for years, but my grocery stores quit carrying them. Now they only have bleached filters. More toxins for us to buy! I can throw the used one, grounds and all, into my green waste., and one less trip to the store.

A good price for the amount. Tne larger filters allow me to dump 2 cups of hot water into my pour over coffee maker without overfilling.

My coffee maker used to splash coffee grounds all over the inside of the brewer when brewing with #4s. These solved the problem. Almost impossible to find in a grocery store.
