I used to carry that most dreaded of fashion accessories, the fanny pack, with a sketchbook and a few pencils and pens. Well this Kaukko bag is like a clown car compared to the fanny pack and I am able to pack an unbelievable amount of stuff in it. There are two mesh pockets on either side, so if you get a simple pencil case you can add even more stuff.
