> 3 dayThese plugs work great right out of the box. I had no problem setting them up in the Meros app. A family member had to disable the 5Ghz band on his router before it would recognize the plug, but after setup he was able to turn the 5Ghz band back on and hasnt seen any problems.

Greater than one weekCould not use/set up on 5 GHz wifi network. Very few plugs apparently can be used on 5 GHz networks (as of now, anyway)

> 3 dayI had old Wemos (bought before Home app and a code to scan) that wouldnt update after hours so removed them from Homekit and ordered one Meross plug. I had read that some people had issues with 2.4/5 Ghz of Eero so went to Eero settings and turned off 5 for 15 min. I had one error--sure because I scanned and didnt get in plug to power fast enough (too hard to reach to scan after inserting in plug). I tried again through Homekit, scanned, plugged in quickly, a few minutes at most and connected-added to the correct room in Homekit and named it. Checked turning on and off via Homepods--works great, just like before-or in Homekit. Am ordering another for a different room. I would recommend if all you need is smart plug. I will add automation for the other one. House is redone completely but 116 YO so its not very amenable to Smart Home so this is my one foray into Smart Home LOL (aside from ATVs and Homepods)

Greater than one weekI used the product to connect my multi plug that powers all my device and accessories so I can remotely toggle the devices on or off depending on the need. The product works perfectly but I had some minor problem to reset the device when I had to relocate the plug from the original wall switch in which I installed the plug to different location in my room. But after that the product is working smoothly as intended.

> 3 dayIt does work but setting it up is not that straight forward. it also required setting up another account to manage it. If I choose again, I will buy something on the alexa list of plugs instead

> 3 dayWorks great with Apple HomeKit. Very easy setup. I use one in my detached garage, which is cold in the Indiana winter.

> 3 dayI was lured to this smart plug by the Siri compatibility. Wouldnt it be great to tell Siri to turn on the lights? Im Not a fan of always listening devices. Unfortunately this only works on 2.4 ghz. If you have a current-day router with 2.4 and 5.0 ghz the set up process is ridiculous. And Im pretty sure you can then only connect to the router from your iPhone on 2.4 ghz if you want to control the smart plug. Ive never seen this limitation with another IOT device. Terrible design. Returning to Amazon now.

Greater than one weekI ordered this smart plug mini to more easily turn my coffee maker on and off. We learned that the coffee maker heating element wears out faster if it is kept plugged in, even if it is turned off. We would plug in and and unplug the coffee maker everyday. Now, it is so much easier with the smart plug to tell Alexa: to turn on the coffee, and power is brought back to the maker. And without needing to unplug the coffee maker...Alexa: turn off the coffee. Setting up the plug was so easy. Just downloaded d the Meross app on my phone, chose the wireless device I want to add...and followed the easy steps in the app...Done!
