Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

this is this my third time buying mgs3 and and 2. In peace walker the ps3 lags a bit whenever the camera does anything other than follow around the player or cut-scenes though. these instances are far and few between though

The controls for the first game terrible. Like, no one talks about it but they are so bad.

I love Metal Gear Solid, I really really love Metal Gear Solid. This is a must buy for all fans or those who didnt grow up with a PS2 (ya I sound old now).

Awesome collection. Ive been playing through the entire series and having these in a single collection has been nice. Its the first HD Collection Ive owned, and the games, for being in their teenage years, still hold up well. Surprisingly well, actually. Graphically, story-wise, and certainly concerning game play. I played through MGS2 and it took me back to when I first played it (again and again) all those years ago. Intense nostalgia trips. And not only nostalgia, these games are still a lot of fun (some control schemes aside - mechanics this old, no matter how great, are somewhat archaic to modern gamers) Now if I can only remember the easiest way to beat The End...

This game is essentially the Metal Gear Legacy Collection minus Metal Gear Solid 1 and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. It comes with remastered, high definition version of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker as well as the Japanese versions of the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake games (under the MGS3: Snake Eater game) for a grand total of five games for the price of one.
