Greater than one weekWas going to use to print carbon fiber filament but this item was shipped with other items and pretty sure it got thrown away because you can’t see it that’s how small it is. Ordered another one and almost lost that one until I ripped the box down!

> 3 dayGreat nozzle, love the coating. Nozzle stays clean printing petg doesn’t seam to load up like uncoated brass.

> 3 dayI wasn’t sure if it would be worth spending $20 on a nozzle but this prints really well over the stock 0.4mm nozzle than came with my Ender 3. I couldn’t be happier with the print quality. I used to get stringing but not anymore. Also because of the wider diameter my prints are even stronger

> 3 dayI had no luck with this nozzle. I installed on my ender 3 pro and immediately filament was curling out of it. I tried to trouble shooting ( checking ptfe tuning in the hot end ) and still was just bad.. I could get anything to stick. I ended up sticking another cheap brass nozzle on for now and it worked perfectly. I guess I just got a bad one?

> 3 dayTried this nozzle on the Creality Ender-5 with the Micro-Swiss All Metal Hotend. The hot-end printed the parts, but this nozzle caused tiny hairs to be pulled across the part when the hot-end moved. Adjusted all sorts of retraction settings, but couldnt get past the tiny hairs. This wasnt too big of an issue as I could hit it with a hot air gun that I use with heat shrink and clean them off. The real problem came in with bed adhesion. Using this nozzle, the PLA+ would not adhere to the bed through the entire print and caused warning. I replaced it back to the standard nozzle, using the same gcode, same temperatures, same material, same bed surface and my PLA+ had no issues with adhering to the bed. In the pictures, the part on the left is printed with the standard nozzle and the part on the right is the Micro Swiss MK8 Plated A2 Tool Steel Wear Resistant Nozzle. Same gcode used for both prints. You can see the adhesion problem with this nozzle and PLA+ Whatever they used to coat this nozzle for wear resistance, drastically affects the materials.

> 3 day⚠️ WARNING!!!!! THIS DOES NOT FIT THE MICRO SWISS ALL METAL HOT END. I BOUGHT THIS TO REPLACE THE STOCK .4MM NOZZLE THAT CAME WITH MY MICRO SWISS HOTENED BECAUSE IT HAD FINNALY GIVEN OUT ON ME. NOT THE SAME LENGTH THREADS. WILL NOR FIT.

> 3 dayThis thing just caused all sorts of problems for me. There’s something about the plating that just loves to hold onto filament. Inside and out. I’ve never had issues with clogging til I switched to this and it would clog constantly. Save yourself the trouble.

> 3 dayMaybe there was a quality control issue with the one I had ordered but mine came significantly longer (almost half a cm) than my other nozzles of the same design and what should have been the same form factor. I wound up having to measure out a piece of filament, gently melt the tip and attach it to my bl touch so the probe would extend past the tip of the nozzle. Once that was taken care of this prints beautifully. Just a major hassle whenever I want to switch nozzles.. Between needing to fiddle with the bit of filament and drastically altering the z offset.. switching to this nozzle takes me an extra 10 minutes or so to get everything keyed in. Switching back takes less time, especially if you take note of the settings you were using before switching to this. Hopefully I can figure out something to clip onto the probe so I can just have a known value for this in my notes. You can get pretty close since the piece of filament is measured, but it changes when you melt the tip and stick it to the probe and might not be totally vertical creating more of a varience. Fiddly and frustrating.

> 3 dayIt seems to clean up easier than the OEM brass nozzle. Smooth printing and good print quality. Expensive, but it does improve things. Im sure others work just as well, but this is a good choice.

Greater than one weekI wanted something a little sturdier to print glow in the dark and this has definitely done the job. I did have to adjust my settings a bit, as steel heats a little differently than brass. If youre looking for a nozzle that will last longer, this is a solid choice.
