Does it have as much power as an echo gas powered unit? No, but its 70-80% Pull the trigger when u need it. No noise in-between.

First thing! I like Milwaukee tools for there Quality and durability. This tool meets this mark. I also like the portability that battery operated tools give me. However, to use this tool as a leaf blower is a big disappointment. Its terribly under powered when compared to its gas powered equivalent and costs more. An XC 5.0 ah battery on high speed mode will give you less than 7 minutes of run time. Using the new HD 12.0 ah battery will give you about 20 minutes of usable run time. This is far from adequate for any serious leaf blowing! This item is good for blowing grass clippings off your side walk, sawdust out of your workshop or the dirt out of your garage, but leaf blowing on property with adult trees, I think not. The build quality of this item is good, but battery operated leaf blowing is not quite there yet. Maybe give technology another 5 years for leaf blowing!

After hearing about Milwaukee’s line up of cordless tools, I was curious. After using them, Im hooked. Every homeowner needs this lineup and this blower is amazing!

This has a radial fan which produces a lot of air, although not any more pressure than my B&D 56V blower. It also draws a lot of current and works best with the larger Milwaukee batteries. The 2 Ah batteries work well at low speed, but cant handle the sustained current at high speed.
