My old Hitachi gas blower had a little more power than this Milwaukee one, but this is a GREAT blower. I use it when mowing my lawn and my mothers lawn. It has no problem blowing dry grass clipping and leaves around. If the grass gets wet, thats a little more challenging, but its challenging for the gas one, too. Battery life is pretty good, too. I have Milwaukee XC8.0 adn HD12.0 batteries and get plenty of blow time out of either.

Awesome. You need the big battery though! Any m18 battery below 9 amp/hr and you’ll hate it. I tried it with the 5amp and had a 8 minute runtime. Got the 12amp battery and it runs for hours. The cfm is really strong on high. Feels great in your hand. *update: months later and still a beast. I haven’t used with new Milwaukee 3.0 a/hr batteries which are supposed to be comparable to old 5.0 batteries.

Light weight, battery lasts long enough on turtle mode to do porch, driveway and front yard.

    Greater than one week

I had two well-worn, standard capacity, Milwaukee brand batteries that still work fine in my power tools. I plugged both of them in to this new blower and neither would last longer than 20 seconds before the blower would default to low power thrust. Convenient that the manufacturer doesnt provide any guidance as to how long the batteries would last, regardless of capacity. This is basically unusable as a garden tool and a waste of resources to manufacture. Who uses a blower for 5 minutes or less every time? And even if one did, why wouldnt you just buy a broom? Ill be going out to get another gasoline powered one.

I recieved my blower today, 2 days after I ordered it. So, me being me, I had to put it to the test! Let me just say, this Milwaukee blower blows! I am impressed with the power this lightweight blower has. I cleared wet leaves out of my 3 sided carport in under 5 minutes. Then i went out to clear the wet, packed in, driven on leaves in my gravel driveway...once again, the blower impressed me. Note: I cleared the carport on turtle speed and the driveway on rabbit speed. Rabbit speed did drain the 5.0ah battery fairly quickly, but that is to be expected with this kind of power. I definitely recommend this tool.

The power is better than expected. Recommend this for home use.
