I clicked on almost every mini zen garden I saw online and finally decided to give this one a try, and Im so thrilled I got it. I love the quality of the elements and there are a lot of them. > 24 hourI got this as a gift for a friend who is a big fan of Japanese gardening. The packaging presentation of this is extremely well done - almost zen like all by itself. Every thing is here from the tray, to the sand, rakes and tools, and ornamental pieces. It found an honored spot on his home office work desk next to his monitor. Im told he loves raking the sand during zoom calls - he finds it very calming :-) Ive seen his garden take various configurations since hes had it, so I know its getting used. Might have to get one for myself.

> 24 hourThis is a beautiful zen garden. I do customize it with the elements to make different great designs. Helps me relax and calm my mind. I really wish it came with different sand colors. Ive ordered blue sand to start making ocean designs. The design guide is helpful creating multiple patterns on the sand. I will say I have learned a thing or two about the Japanese culture from it. Awesome product!!

Take a few deep breaths, smooth out the sand, draw lines with the rakes, position the ornaments. It may sound silly to some, but its a way to stop thinking about work and relieve stress by engaging mindfully in a relaxing manual task. If youve never tried it, you should! It incorporates into your home or office decor, and the great thing about it is that you can change up the layout of it to suit your mood. I love it! The internal packaging in the box is very well presented, with every item neatly wrapped individually. It would make a very nice gift. There are a bunch of pebbles, rocks, and other ornaments, and an assortment of bamboo rakes and other tools for working the sand. In other words, this has class! One of the little ornaments got broken during shipping, but I used a little bit of Elmers glue to fix it. Cant even tell it was ever broken. This is really cool, and my office is now more pleasant because of it.
