It was difficult to get it to pair initially. Took a LOT of attempts and I almost gave up. Once it did, it works great. But it shouldnt be that difficult.

This device has preformed flawlessly on both ADT Pulse and Hubitat z wave controllers. I was very pleasantly surprised to find a z wave outdoor portable dimmer outlet. I use it to control a string of LED outdoor patio lights using Alexa voice control and home automation routines.

Paired easily with my SmartThings hub, and it goes on and off flawlessly as directed by the routines I have set up. Very happy!

I was able to pair this plug to my SmartThings hub when placed in close proximity. However, once I placed it in my backyard there was no connectivity. I then added 2 z-wave smart plugs nearby to act as repeaters, and connection was very spotty. Id say on/off commands would register only 20% of the time. On/off status was incorrect most of the time too. I placed an Enlighten/GE outdoor z-wave plug in the same location, and have no issues. Im sending the Minoston back

Nothing, used to control our deck lights when we come home at night. Only down side is to turn on and off are thru the app or alarm app that the zwave it thru.

I purchased these to use with my Hubitat system. They work well once you get them to bind to the system, but are a royal pain to get the system to recognize them. Once they bind however they work fine. The power measurement capability of these work nice as well. You are able to read the line voltage as well as the power being consumed by the devices plugged in. I would definately buy these again.

Easy to set up and connect via Alexa and my alarm system. I would but again. A little pricey but a good item.

I was very happy this plug just worked. No smartthings firmware BS, I just plugged it in and searched Minoston in smartthings. Very Nice!

This paired easily with my Hubitat C7 hub. I didnt realize this was a S2 device, and was given the option of setting up z-wave encryption when I did. The code that is required is on the back of the device. The only issue I had was that Hubitat detected it as just a generic z-wave dimmer, which wont let you change any of the optional settings, such as having the power button glow when the dimmer is on rather than when its off. You can change the device type to Minoston MS11ZS Dimmer which will allow you to set the power light status as well as what happens if it loses power (on/off/last state). Another reviewer suggests setting the device to EVA LOGIK Smart Plug however it would not push the changes I made to the config out to the device. Ill update this review if I run into any problems.

This outdoor Z-Wave switch is great for water fountains and outdoor lights. The unit can handle extreme hot and cold temperatures, has a very long distance range compared to other devices that Ive tested
