15-11-2024Got today and was eager to try out. Everything worked as specified until a strong gust of wind turned it inside out. Apparently the ribs are only fiberglass at the ends. The inner ribs are metal with a series of riveted springs that will pop if stressed by a very strong gust. If you want a truly windproof umbrella, you simply have to get a double canopy even if it is much larger.

> 3 dayThis is a very high quality umbrella. The construction on this umbrella is excellent. This main feature of this umbrella is that it is a hybrid umbrella and flash light. The flash light can twist to a forward facing direction, so that when you walk, you see whats in front of you during a cloudy storm or at night (Look at the pictures), very convenient. I believe its most useful when looking for your keys to opening the front door. You can shine your light in front of the front door so that you know where to put your key (see pictures to see what I mean). I highly recommend this umbrella. You cant go wrong.

> 3 dayLove this product! What a great idea to combine the umbrella and LED light together! This is a great product for safety and weathering the storm. As a realtor, it is very helpful to have an umbrella for those rainy days and nights for our clients, and the LED light helps in reading any Sentrilock or combo locks when its getting darker. I like that it is a compact umbrella so you can keep in your car too!

> 3 dayThe umbrella is light and compact and has a nice soft grip handle. BUT, the light is basically worthless. Do not buy if you are buying it for the light. You are better off lighting a match....

Greater than one weekThis is a really high quality umbrella with one exception. Once the umbrella is open, theres no release button, so to close it, you need to pull against a lot of pressure to close the umbrella. The plastic collar on which to rest your fingers (and pull the umbrella toward you to close it) is so close to the umbrellas ribs that once the umbrella is almost closed, you risk getting your fingers pinched in the ribs. Im 43 and have moderate hand arthritis, so perhaps this wouldnt be an issue for someone without joint issues. For me, though, it has made this an umbrella Ill only use if the others we own break.

Greater than one weekThis is the coolest and handiest umbrella Ive ever had. It has a very convenient light at the bottom of the handle, which also pivots so you can hold it comfortably and still point the light in front of you or downward. The umbrella came in a really cool box and with a handy clip!

> 3 dayWe love this product. My girlfriend uses it on rainy nights and the light makes her feel safe. Ive used it to take my dogs for a walk while it was sprinkling and the sun was setting, ended up being very handy. The light really sets this apart from other umbrellas.

> 3 daySo I just started commuting on the train to the city and needed an umbrella. Product showed up quickly, which was good because it rained for the next two days! Impressed with the umbrella - kept me dry as expected, but the best part is that it stood up to the wind gusts in downtown Chicago - and didnt get ruined when it got turned inside out. The tines are plastic, so they can just be pushed back into place! Highly recommend if you have to deal with wind, and not just rain. The light is neat - havent had to use it yet, but was a selling point for me.
