I ordered my alienware orion messenger bag from the price bros on Thursday August 26, 2010 at about 3:30pm. I even paid $27.00 for expedited shipping. The Price Bros had all evening on Thursday, and all day on Friday and Saturday to ship my item and failed to do so! I even sent them an email. Today it is Sunday August 29th, 2010 and my item still has not shipped. I feel I got ripped off. Why did I pay the high expedited shipping cost for if they were just going to delay my shipment. I am extremely frustrated and I would NEVER purchase anything from The Price Bros again! Avoid buying from them at all costs, I just want my item so I can go on with my life!! Rick Flores

I bought this bag to fit my 17 Alienware laptop. I made my purchase on June 6, 2019. Today is November 12, 2019 and one of the zippers has started to lose its stitching. I expect something I paid over $70 for to last more than 5 months. I use this 5 days a week to go to work. Would I buy it again? Probably if it were cheaper.

I purchased this bag for my Dell XPS laptop which is also a 17.3 screen.. the bag fits perfectly and have plenty of space for other things like power brick, mouse, etc.. and also things you would carry with you traveling or even back and forth from work. Quality of bag is great and everything. Price on Amazon is much better than buying direct from Dell.

Recommended, felt would be bigger, however the size is convenient Good quality, hope it will last for couple of years without major signs of wear Lot of pockets and built from soft and protective quality

    Greater than one week

This bag was purchased primarily to serve as a laptop bag for day-to-day operations, but it recently underwent strenuous activity on a 2.5-week vacation to Europe. The bag was a great fit for my 17.3-inch HP laptop, and it also fit a handful of magazines, an iPod, Kindle Fire, all accompanying cords, several outlet converters and a host of other items. But the best part was when we started stuffing it. As the trip progressed, our bags got heavier and heavier with items we were bringing back. This ended up serving as an additional piece of luggage, full of clothing, souvenirs and many other items in addition to what was listed above. The heavy-duty zippers withstood the punishment just fine, and the thick padding ensured that everything was safe. And my laptop? It was safe and sound in its own compartment (check-point friendly) which is offset in such a way that even if you stuff the bag, the laptop section is unaffected. I highly recommend this bag.

I have a 17.3 screen on my lap top which made finding a bag big enough a hassle. My laptop fits perfectly in this bag. I love that it is checkpoint friendly its made traveling so much easier. I just pack all my electronic devices in the bag and my laptop, then when I go thru security just up zip and lay flat to go thru the scanner. I highly recommend this bag if you travel a lot or have a large laptop.

I am more than pleased with my purchase. This bag is a lot more than I thought it would be, but it should be for the price tag. Tons of pockets and different storage options. I can honestly say bag did not see much use before I upgraded to the m18x r2 and had to get a new case (maybe 3 months worth of taking to class/friends house 3-5 days a week). Bag does offer a pretty good level of protection, dropped bag TWICE with laptop, charger, mouse, PS vita, and a Nintendo DS from about 3 ft and the 2nd time about 5 feet. Not even a scratch on the bag. I also like the carrying strap, much more comfortable then most bags I have owned in the past. Pros: Lightweight, great quality material, great quality zipper/zipper pulls, tons of different pockets and storage options, airport/check friendly, protective, sleek head turner Cons: Price, very front pocket, while handy, seems a little small, laptop is slightly loose if nothing else is placed into bag

I got this bag for my 15.7 Asus laptop. I wanted to get a great bag since my computer cost me $570, and this bag is excellent. I am an alien fanatic so of course I couldnt resist the Grey Logo featured on the bag. You can see on the bag there is a lighter black making almost an X on the front. This is a dense plastic, its not super hard. You can push into it with your finger nail and it will give in a little, but if you drop the bag, this feature will absorb the impact. There is a pocket for the laptop made out of cool (temperature cool; not awesome cool) plastic that seems to remove heat from the laptop. So you dont have to worry about it overheating in the bag if you put it away right after using it, or you can let your laptop sit on it while in use. Of course, accidents can still happen. Your laptop can still overheat, but this will help to prevent it. And there are multiple pockets for cords, cables, usb holders, some that can be used for papers ect. This has pretty much anything except a cup holder. Overall I have no complaints. I would advise ANYONE to get this bag!

Big enough to use as a suitcase

Carrying your gear in the Alienware Orion messenger bag is as comfortable as it is convenient due to the extra-thick, padded shoulder strap. Alien accents throughout the bag, including the bold, black chrome Alien Head icon on the front, set this bag apart from the crowd. Accommodates large laptops up to 17.3.
