> 3 dayI got this for my daughter for the school year. It does seem to be holding up well so far, but its a little small. You wont be able to fit a 3 ring 3inch binder in here, otherwise no complaints.

> 3 dayI was looking for a cute backpack that I could put my pins on, but would still be functional for work! This has so much room and I love that there are multiple compartments for organizing my stuff. Super cute and functional!

Greater than one weekUpdated: 02/23/2019 More updates after longer period of heavy use: The positive: - The lockable zipper is good. It does get me a great peace of mind when getting on crowded subways. even on the plane, when having to leave the back at the seat to get to rest room. - Walked in the light rain, no problem at all. - Surprisingly found that I can put 17 laptop in it. The negative: - Not sure what was the problem but unable to plug USB cable securely to port. Having to push it in a few time and . . . it actually cause the internal cable to came lose completely. Now I am unable to use it. Its a bummer, but not a big deal. So far, I am still happy with this backpack. Just hope to see new version with more pockets inside and better USB. Original update: 12/8/2019 I need a new laptop back pack for use when I travel on business. At the same time, a backpack that I can use while doing my walking around in the cities / museums. This backpack should serve me very well. The backpack arrived adequately packed. Nothing fancy, it was wrapped in its own logo plastic bag in side Amazon basic shipment box. Upon initial inspection, it is made of good exterior duffel like material comparable to others. Comparing to the normal HP backpack that came with my laptop, it is relatively made of similar quality exterior material. It has good design for pockets and padded compartments for laptop and tablet. I like the fact that it is also padded on the bottom (although a little to thinly padded than I would like). The lockable zippers are good, this should give me a better feeling of security when getting on crowded subways or buses (one of the main reason why I bought it). It needs some getting use to, to unlock it before unzip the compartment. The two compartments in the front without lockable zippers are designed to possibly have the zipper hidden from view. There is a good size anti-theft pocket on the back which would be very helpful. With all my usual items while travel packed in it, it appears to be taking it all in well with some room to spare. The bag itself is quite light. Perhaps, this is what the designer had in mind. I take away one star for the inner material, the light grey liner as shown in the products image. As it is paper thin and does not feel silky to the touch. The concern is about the middle part that separates the front part to the main part (5th picture of the product image). Because, it has only one thin layer of this grey sheet without anything padding. It can be cut open when there are heavy items with pointed hard skin. Also, there is a small card pocket on the left shoulder pad, the pocket is not deep enough. With the material a little slippery (to repel water / rain), any cards put in there may be easily dropped out. It is still quite useful to keep simple card like metro pass but I certainly do not recommend to put any credit cards of ID of any importance there. This back pack has overall good design and it has good value for the price (although I would not mind paying a little more with a better made interior material). I will be taking it on a long overseas trip soon. Will add more update when return.
