I normally believe in standard construction methods and dont typically buy such products, however these are a real time and material saver. The compound angle creates a tower that when cross-braced properly and placed on level ground properly will be extremely rigid. Be sure to secure the center of the X using a chunk of 4x4 between the boards and it will be incredibly stable. These were well worth the money for my hunting shack which is 4x6 and on 12 posts.
