In my home studio, I immediately heard the difference when I upgraded to these cables. These are quality cables. This is not the area where you want to cut corners. Sure, lesser cables can suffice and there are ways to mix out hums and hisses but it is so much easier and so much more satisfying to bring in and record a pristine sound right from the start. Such an upgrade over what I was using (not sure brand but it was an american made brand but silver. The right angle is exactly what I needed and the gold and overall quality construction absolutely improves sound quality and tone.
