It is worth the money. I also got the Platinum which is 3 times more expensive and you do get what you pay for. I wont use regular cables anymore even if they have well known brand name to it other than Mogami. Difference in quality is like using a better audio speaker.

In my home studio, I immediately heard the difference when I upgraded to these cables. These are quality cables. This is not the area where you want to cut corners. Sure, lesser cables can suffice and there are ways to mix out hums and hisses but it is so much easier and so much more satisfying to bring in and record a pristine sound right from the start. These are professional cables so they do cost more...….as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Very durable cables. These are also very low profile considering their length. I am not a fan of solderless cables, and these cables sound just as good as george Ls. I will mention that THESE DO NOT HAVE NEUTRIK TIPS. If you are looking for Neutrik, make it yourself. I am a big fan of Neutrik, but these tips are working fine on my board. I have five of these in my chain currently.

Replaces my cheapo patch cables with Mogami after hearing them at NAMM. What a difference they made! I have several pedals for various distortion and sustain and have had big problems in the past with noise and clarity. These cables are night and day better than cheap guitar store counter cables that many of us have used for years. Brings down the feedback and are much more durable and reliable and have had no problems at all. A little pricey but well worth it if you care about your tone.

I am an enormous fan of mogami cables - but for some reason they keep sending me a cable damaged in the exact same place - I suspect its some misaligned cutting machine that that creates this damage - as I have seen another review with this same issue. EDIT: 3rd times a charm. after returning the 2 damaged ones - I finally received an intact third one. its worth noting that this is an absolutely top of the line cable, however Im leaving this up in hopes that it will draw the attention of whoever is in the quality control chain can stop this from happening again.

After switching to Mogami... ill never use any other cable. Its flawless, sturdy, high quality, quiet. Its what you want and you may not even realize that you want it until you try it.
