This thing is perfect. Throw in some water bottles and family gear and take it on trip. Used it as a range bag for my handguns. Pleny of room and built tough.

    Greater than one week

I fly someplace every other week. Im constantly on the look out for a carry on bag that will fit under the seat and will at the same time allow me to carry snacks, water, tablet, music, two cell phones and more. This bag fits the bill fer sure. dont let the price scare you. well worth every penny.

Good, lots of pockets, handy, versatile, is kinda heavy though.

I purchased this bag to use for school and it looks like it will be perfect. I have the maxpedition jumbo pack and love it, I use that as my murse. The one thing I dont like about this bag, and that keeps it from getting 5 stars, is no handle! My jumbo has a nice sewn in handle that I use often, but for some reason they decided to make this bag handle-less. I dont understand why they did this, as a handle is very useful. Anyway this bag is large enough for textbooks and notebooks, laptops and such. Ill post an update as I use it further.

Love this bag. I am currently using it as diaper bag. I wish it had just a bit more room but for the diapers…. but as soon as the baby is bigger I am keeping it for myself.

Fantastic bag that is versatile, convenient for EDC, and the quality is top notch. My only complaints are as follows. The waist belt should be able to buckle in on both sides allowing you to remove it entirely. This would also allow you to have a thicker, more padded belt to better distribute the weight. There is also a secret pocket on the shoulder belt but the entrance is so small the things get lost deep inside the bag and can be hard to retrieve. Besides these two things the mongo is magnificent and couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you Maxpedition!

The build quality of this backpack is second to none. The internal and external utility storage compartments is great. I will get many years of service out of this pack.

Havent used it a lot yet, but so far Ive got to say I like it. I actually carry a laptop in it although that was not the reason I bought it. I think the real test will be when I travel with it on a long trip. Quality seems really good. Only down side was the price, although I must admit Amazon had it for as cheap as you could find it.
