The jacket is fairly thin / loose fitting. Not a huge deal given the price point - just dont use it outdoors or underground , or on a car. It probably wont hold up to that. But its fine to go in a wall / attic.

Great speaker wire it is the only wire i use for my home theater. Produces great sound and it easy to pull though walls. I always use banana clips on both ends for better connections. I will keep buying this wire!!

These might not be fancy, but they have unbeatable practical quality and a great price. If you need speaker cable, give this one strong consideration.

Best cheap speaker cable Ive used yet! The protective wire sleeve is great and hides well under the carpet/trim in my listening room. I dont get the annoying crackle I got with other cables. The sound quality is great for my casual (often) in-home listening

Product is very good. Nice, fine copper stranding and just right flexibility. Nice price point. I researched several brands of wire before deciding on Monoprice and am happy with the effort. Only negative, not related to product quality, is that I had a fairly large order of products that came together and I didnt check against the order list carefully enuf. I ordered one roll of 2-conductor and one roll of 4-conductor wire and got 2 rolls of 2-conductor. Didnt realize the mistake until well into the installation and decided to use what I had instead of returning a roll for replacement. My fault for not checking well enuf.
